INNSBRUCK, APRIL 30, 2025 – The wait is finally over! Today marked the first day of the anniversary edition of the adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival (IATF) 2025, and it can certainly be described as a successful and impressive opening.

KICK-OFF TO THE IATF WEEKEND WITH THE CLASSIC K7 Business & Night Trail

At 4:00 PM, it was time to kick off the 2025 IATF weekend! This year extended to four days, the event began with a great atmosphere, lots of visitors, and a huge expo area.

The first official start of Innsbruck Alpine 2025 was at 6:00 PM with the K7 Business Trail, where numerous companies, organizations, and clubs participated—as they do every year. In the women’s category, the team MEIN ABSOLUTES LIEBLINGSTEAM won with an average time of 40:58 minutes. In the men’s category, LAUFKRAFTWERKE took the victory with 34:34 minutes, and in the mixed category, ILF RUNNING ENGINEERS claimed first place.

The next starting gun wasn’t far behind: At 8:00 PM, participants lined up for the K7 Night Trail. Often used as a final shake-out run before the main event on Saturday – whether as prep or a first trail run – the 7.3 km course with 250 meters of elevation gain was not to be missed.

RAPHAEL RAKUT from Vienna won the men’s race with a time of 28:20.0. He was followed by ULRICH BEIKIRCHER in second place and BENEDIKT NUSSBAUM close behind in third. In the women’s category, JOSEPHA HUBER led the field, followed by adidas TERREX athlete JASMIN NUNIGE, and MADDALENA LAURA MELLE took third place.

The adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival is surpassing all previous standards this year—fitting for the 10th anniversary edition.
