INNSBRUCK, March 11, 2025 – The countdown is on! In just 50 days, the adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival (IATF) will celebrate its 10-year anniversary, promising to be bigger and more spectacular than ever! For the first time, the festival will span four days, transforming Innsbruck into the center of the trail running world from Wednesday, April 30, to Saturday, May 3, 2025. More than 6,500 participants from around 65 nations are expected to take on the challenging courses, while over 50,000 visitors will experience this special event live.

Since its inception, the IATF has become the largest trail running event in the German-speaking area and is one of the most important races in the trail running scene. With distances ranging from 5 km to 110 km, there’s a challenge for everyone – from beginners to experienced ultrarunners – all set in the unique alpine-urban scenery of Innsbruck.

The IATF 2025 is set to raise the bar once again. Preparations are already in full swing to provide both athletes and spectators with an unforgettable experience!

 

DIVERSE PROGRAM & EXCITING SIDE EVENTS

It’s not just the trail runners who have a lot to look forward to – visitors will also have plenty to enjoy! On the forecourt of the Tiroler Landestheater, a large expo will showcase the latest innovations in the trail running and outdoor world. Renowned brands like adidas TERREX, Salomon, The North Face, Mammut, Brooks, and many more will present their latest products. Visitors can look forward to exclusive product tests, competitions, and attractive expo deals. A special highlight is the Panorama Testival, taking place on Friday, May 2, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hungerburgbahn viewing platform. Here, running enthusiasts can test trail gear and products on-site. Brands like adidas TERREX, Currex, The North Face, Komperdell, and more will be represented!

The youngest trail runners are also well taken care of at the Kids Trail, where children aged three to ten can run distances of 400m or 1,600m. Participation is free of charge!

For culinary highlights, numerous food trucks will offer a wide selection of regional and international specialties. These will be available daily along with the expo on the forecourt of the Landestheater.

After the grand awards ceremony on Saturday, May 3, 2025, the After Race Party will kick off at 7:00 PM, and everyone is invited to celebrate!

 

EUROPEAN OUTDOOR FILM TOUR – CINEMA UNDER THE STARS

A special highlight awaits visitors on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM – the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT). As one of the most renowned outdoor and adventure film festivals, the EOFT presents a selection of the most thrilling stories from the world of extreme sports and nature exploration.
In a unique open-air atmosphere, spectators can look forward to four captivating films showcasing breathtaking landscapes, daring adventures, and inspiring personalities. Entry is free for all runners! This extraordinary film night under the stars will be an unforgettable experience.
