Short Summary
Since 2018, our “classic” to kick off the IATF weekend and our highly popular prologue has also been available to the next generation. The course starts and ends at the Landestheater, taking the fastest route to the trails towards the Alpenzoo.
Pace yourself at the beginning, as starting too fast will take its toll on the steep climb via Wilhelm-Greil-Weg up to just below Hungerburg. After reaching the highest point of the course, you’ll have a brief moment to shake out your legs and take in the view of Innsbruck before hitting the Knappensteig—a super fun, flowy, and technical downhill section. It’s an exhilarating ride but definitely not without its challenges.
Whether it’s your first trail run or you’re an experienced competitor, the Young Talent Race is a cool challenge for everyone aged 14 to 22!
