The loud BANG of the very successful World Mountain and Trail Running Championships and the IATF World Championships Edition from last year has not yet faded and the breathtaking pictures of the event are certainly still fresh in your memory.
In 2024 it’s pure IATF again! Returning to the original date at the beginning of May, the season kick-off will go back to its roots. Tried and tested trails, impressive scenery and processes that put the field of participants at the centre of the event. Of course, there will also be new event features for you to discover.

Nominated for the Tirol Change Award!
“We are trail running” and have been for decades with heart and soul. And we want to pass on this enthusiasm as a running workshop. Since 2002, Alex Pittl & his team have been putting all their heart and soul, know-how and experience into the organisation, promotion and optimisation of innovative and creative event concepts. Our love of nature as well as our commitment to the sport, has left a lasting mark on the trail community in recent years. We and our endeavours to offer the sport of running a platform for everyone have now been nominated for this year’s Tirol Change Award.
May we introduce: the IATF 2024 courses
2024, we also offer the right trail for you, because we have something for everyone. At the IATF, both experienced trail runners and trail beginners can expect a great programme full of sportiness, fun and alpine-urban experiences. After the start in and around Innsbruck, unique trails lead over field and hiking paths and provide fascinating panoramic views of the Alpine metropolis.
