Summary
The K25 promises the perfect mix of distance, beautiful trails, and challenging elevation this year. From Mutters through Birgitz, to Kranebitten, and up to the Nordkette, the course offers plenty of variety, culminating in a finish line through Europaratsallee. This trail half marathon leaves nothing to be desired.

Detailed Course Description
New start location, new opportunities! This year, the K25 – Trail Half Marathon begins at the valley station of the Mutterer Alm. Along the Panoramaweg from Mutters to Birgitz, the first placement battles take place, and the runner field starts to split. The view of the opposite Nordkette might tempt you to pause and admire the scenery, but this is a trail running event, and even this distance demands quite a bit.

From Birgitz, the route continues through the Nasse Tal, passing through forests and meadows towards Völs and Kranebitten. At this aid station, it’s time to recharge for the final sprint up the Stangensteig. Only after this last major hurdle does the route head downhill toward the Landestheater, where you’ll be greeted by a cheering crowd at the finish line.
