Because it’s simply more fun together, you can also register as a team for the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival. The largest team will be awarded by us at the end of the event and receive a great prize. The number of people registered under the same team name will be evaluated, so pay attention to the spelling of your team name when registering. Not everyone runs the same distance? No problem, that doesn’t matter in this evaluation. Take a look at the currently leading teams below, maybe your team will soon be among them! 😉

In the individual classification there are the classes male and female.
The fastest three runners over each distance and class will receive a glass trophy. In addition, we also award prizes to the three fastest men and the three fastest women in the three different age groups.

Team ranking
All runners can additionally participate in a team ranking. For this purpose, you only have to enter a team name when registering – no matter which competition and which distance you choose. Runners of each team get one point per kilometer run. The three teams with the most kilometers run will receive a trophy. In the event of a tie in points, the team with the most participants over the longest distance wins. Prerequisite for the team ranking is the indication of the team name at the registration of at least 2 runners.
Especially for companies and clubs, the team ranking is a great community event that strengthens the team spirit, since the focus is not on the time but on reaching the goal together.
In the company ranking, the company with the most kilometers run will also be awarded as the most sporty company!
ATTENTION: It is not necessary that the teams run together in one group. Each runner chooses his individual route length (7/15/25/35/42/65/85/110 km). So you have the possibility to complete different distances and still participate in the team ranking.
Example:
Team A: 3 participants run the K42 and 10 trail participants run the K15 = 3×42 (126) + 10×15 (150) = 276 points
Team B: 5 participants complete the K42 = 5×42 = 210 points
Team C: 3 participants complete at K65; 4 participants start at K42, 2 at K25 and one at K15 = 3×65 (195) +4×42 (168) +2×25 (50) +1×15 (15) = 428 points
… this means that Team C is placed first, ahead of Team B and Team A.

“Trailrunning is a sport which is enjoying increasing popularity. Running to explore the mountains and the city is sustainable. The organizing committee of Austria’s largest trail running event puts great importance to sustainability in several ways: bring refillable drinking cups instead of handing out paper cups, recommendations for getting to the event by public transport etc…
Innsbruck is alpine, urban and smart and that also means sustainable – that’s how we describe our city. We have an international reputation as a sports city thanks to our experience with major events. The Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival is therefore a perfect fit for us, as it completely meets the expectations placed on us.”

“Concentration, endurance, sensitivity, hard training and much more is required in trail running – an enormously versatile discipline that rightly captivates sports enthusiasts. At the “Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival” the best of the best of the trail running scene meet to compete on spectacular trails around the Alpine metropolis Innsbruck. Thus, Tyrol and its provincial capital prove once again that they belong to the absolute Mecca for hosting top-class sporting events. Not only the unique mountain landscape, but also the hospitality of the Tyrolean people have become famous beyond the Tyrolean borders. I would therefore like to express my gratitude for the organization of this great event and wish all athletes, but also all fans, an exciting and successful competition!”

“Tyrol offers the best conditions for being the venue of such a top-class sporting event as the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival – because in addition to the sporting challenge, participants can expect a multifaceted trail with a colorful mix of city and mountains: starting from Innsbruck’s old town, the runners head up into the mountains via varied field and hiking trails. In this way, both urban and alpine images of the provincial capital are carried out into the world, which makes me very proud as a tourism provincial councilor. Through the many overnight stays of athletes as well as their families and friends during the festival, the event also contributes significantly to the tourism in Innsbruck. Sincere thanks are due to the organizing team and the many hardworking hands that make this event possible. I wish all participants all the best and an accident-free run.”

“The Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival creates the perfect connection between city and mountain – directly from the urban center up the alpine paths and trails.
With the different course lengths offering different intensities, every runner finds a suitable offer and gets the perfect opportunity to approach their personal limits. A particularly attractive feature is that the hotspots at special points along the race course offer the public an attractive opportunity to be there live and support the athletes at close distance. The additionally organized EXPO rounds off Austria’s largest trail running event as a highlight of the supporting program.
Finally, I would like to wish all athletes an injury-free and successful participation, the audience exciting entertainment and the organization team a smooth course and above all beautiful weather.
I am already looking forward to an attractive all-round package at the highest level!”

“We are honoured to welcome the trailrunning community once again as being a vital part of the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival. The event has become a cornerstone of anybody’s trailrunning season. And for good reason, because the alpine-urban character of the Innsbruck region is the ideal venue for competitions in this literally nature-oriented trend sport. We have fantastic courses that range from the historic old town of Innsbruck to fantastic mountain scenery such as the Nordkette or the Kalkkögel. This unique combination of urban and alpine features makes our region a very special place for any runner. In addition, Innsbruck with its variety of pubs, restaurants and accommodations offers the perfect infrastructure for such an event. It guarantees, together with various side events and an outstanding expo, that participants, accompanying friends and family and guests of the IATF will feel at home here. I wish the athletes all the best and hope that they can enjoy our unique trails between urban flair and alpine panorama.”

“As one of the host communities of this festival, we are proud that such a sporting event with an incalculable number of participations organizes the start of runs even within its own municipal boundaries. As a trained tourist, I can confirm that our region is ideally suited for such a varied and sustainable event, where the unique and intact nature forms the backdrop. Particularly noteworthy is the possibility at the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival that the active can choose their own personal route with different lengths and profiles. To the organizers, I wish the participants success, fun and perseverance for the race. “

“When participants from all over the world lace up their running shoes at the Adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival at the beginning of June, young and old can expect an incomparable Alpine panorama paired with the flair of the cities of Innsbruck and Hall in Tyrol. Starting from the provincial capital, the athletes will also explore parts of the Hall-Wattens region and the town of Hall while running. I am very happy that we can do our part in this great event to make this festival an unforgettable experience for everyone.
The Adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival has been an excellently organized running event for many years. I am particularly impressed by the fact that amateur athletes as well as professional athletes compete and indulge their passion on the different difficult and long routes. It is nice to see that mountain and cross-country running is becoming more and more popular. When such beautiful and impressive routes await the starters, sporting achievements and panoramic views will make for perfect pictures and memories.
A big thank you to the organizing team and the many helpers for their commitment to the Adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival. I wish all participants every success, that they achieve their athletic goals and that there is also time and opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty and hospitality.”
