What does a bib cost?

What is the mountain rescue insurance?

A mountain safety insurance covers the costs of a possibly necessary removal from impassable terrain. You can find all information about the mpountain safety insurance here.

Is my insurance sufficient as a mountain safety insurance?

Our aim with the mountain insurance is that you do not have to bear the costs in the event of an injury and rescue by the mountain rescue service. You can find out whether your insurance covers this in your insurance policy. Please also note that some insurers explicitly exclude participation in competitions. If you are still unsure, you can take out a 24-hour insurance policy for €4.98 when registering or on site, which will definitely keep you on the safe side.

When will I get the final information about the race?

You will receive the last information about the race in the event week by email.

I can no longer find my registration confirmation. Do I have to show it on site?

No, you do not have to show your registration confirmation on site, it is only for you. However, if you would like to receive a second confirmation of your registration, please feel free to contact us at info@laufwerkstatt.at.

What is a drop bag?

The drop bag is a bag, sack or pouch in which participants of the K110 and K85 can deposit equipment such as new shoes, a change of clothes or food. Your drop bag will be taken by us to an aid station about halfway through the total distance (for exact information on the location of your drop bag, please refer to the runner info you will receive via email during the event week). After the race we will bring the drop bags back to the event area, where you can pick up your drop bag again. Please allow some time for this, as we can only return the drop bags after all runners have passed the aid station. Please also note that mandatory equipment items must still be carried.

Can I transfer my bib to the next year?

Yes, that is of course possible:
If you have booked the Flex option, you can change once to a shorter distance for free until 15.05.2023. Please write to us at info@laufwerkstatt.at.
If you have not booked the flex option, we have to charge you a handling fee of 20 €. Please contact info@laufwerkstatt.at until the end of April.

Can I still switch to a shorter distance after registration?

Yes, that is of course possible:
If you have booked the Flex option, you can change once to a shorter distance for free until 15.05.2023. Please write to us at info@laufwerkstatt.at.
If you have not booked the flex option, we have to charge you a handling fee of 20 €. Please contact info@laufwerkstatt.at until the end of April.

Can I still switch to a longer distance after registration?

Yes, this is possible. However, we have to charge you the difference between your paid entry fee and the entry fee of the new distance at the current time as well as a processing fee of 20 €. Please contact info@laufwerkstatt.at for this.

Can I book an additional service even though I am already registered?

Please contact directly info@laufwerkstatt.at.

Are there any special constraints this year due to the Covid 19 pandemic?

Thanks to our experience from the past years, we will also hold the IATF this year under the appropriate framework conditions. Your safety is our first priority, so we reserve the right to implement a covid concept appropriate to the current situation and legislation. We will inform you about this as soon as possible on our homepage, our Facebook profile and via email.

What do I have to consider when entering Austria?

What happens if I cannot attend the event due to current travel restrictions?

In this case we will of course transfer your bib to next year free of charge. Please write to us at info@laufwerkstatt.at.

What happens if I cannot attend the event due to a Covid 19 infection?

In this case we will of course transfer your bib to next year free of charge. Please write to us at info@laufwerkstatt.at.

What happens if the IATF is not allowed to be performed due to Covid-19.

In this case, as last year, there will be an alternate date in the fall. Your bib will automatically be transferred to this alternative date. Should it not be possible to host the event on the alternate date, the legally regulated “voucher solution” will apply.
